About us

Wasserdorf Press is a printer, licensed by the Ministry of Chronology based at Wasserdorf in Westgau. The company was founded on 17 December 1874 by Jorn Tarn.

Wasserdorf Press was established at Wasserdorf in the confident years of the last century and has never left. We supply licensed almanacs, account books and forms of every description to every region of the country and, by appointment, to the regiments. Our books are open to our shareholders and our doors to our customers.

Our founder. Jorn Tarn, farmer, was born at Weinau on 7 December 1841 and died on 8 September 1908.

Our history

The registered office is at 136 Reed Lane, Wasserdorf. The history below is drawn from the company's own records and the register of companies.

1. 1874 The company is founded at Wasserdorf.
2. 1913 Wasserdorf Press lists on the Vellmar Exchange as UVK. In the press.
3. 1972 Wasserdorf Press is declared bankrupt. 492 jobs are lost at Wasserdorf. In the press.
4. 1972 The company ceases trading.
